Every man, woman, and child in every community deserves access to the housing, employment, food, and resources they need to thrive. We are building a future where no matter your zip code or background, you have what you need to live well — from stable housing and meaningful work to nutritious meals, education, and support for your family. Across the country, millions overcome challenges to securing stable housing, finding meaningful employment, and putting food on the table — with strength and dignity — despite a system that is not working for everyone.

The barriers families face are connected to many issues, including discrimination and unfair social and economic factors. As a result, Black, Latino, Native American, and Pacific Islander communities are disproportionately impacted by these systemic challenges. By working with all communities to ensure specific needs are met, everyone has a greater opportunity to thrive.

Standing With Survivors

Domestic violence does not discriminate. It crosses every zip code, every income level, every background — and far too often, it goes unseen. Survivors face not only physical danger but the devastating loss of housing, financial independence, and safety for themselves and their children. Many stay because they have nowhere else to go.

At the Vannucchi Greater Care of America Foundation, we believe that leaving should never mean choosing between safety and survival. That is why domestic violence support is central to our mission — not an afterthought. We provide survivors with emergency shelter referrals, transitional housing assistance, legal advocacy resources, financial empowerment counseling, and connection to long-term support services. We walk alongside survivors from crisis to stability, and from stability to independence.

We also recognize that domestic violence is deeply intertwined with human trafficking. Traffickers frequently target individuals who are fleeing abuse, experiencing homelessness, or lacking economic resources. Our integrated approach addresses both realities — offering prevention education, survivor-centered intervention, and restoration services for those affected by trafficking.

When disaster strikes, survivors of domestic violence are among the most vulnerable. We are there before, during, and after emergencies to ensure they are not left behind.
